I decided to take Simone’s portrait not by travelling to Stockholm, where she lives, but by sending a camera (thanks Sony), attaching it to her homemade robot arm and controlling it over the Internet from my desk in London.
I gave directions via FaceTime – hence the headphones – and pressed the shutter using Sony’s Remote Camera Control app.
